p.s.  I am a retired nurse with 16+ years of breeding experience.  My main health focus is to keep the

coefficient of inbreeding (COI)

low whether it is an outcrossed breeding or a line breeding. All dogs have strengths and faults. The choice of a stud for a dam rests on keeping the COI low, while  bringing in new strengths and eliminating known faults.
